Tis the season!

Christmas is less than 40 days away, it's so hard to believe! I have been holding off on decorating and listening to holiday tunes... but I can no longer refrain. This weekend, it's onnnnnnn. I plan on going Griswold on our house. Lights everywhere, ornaments, garland, stockings......weeeeee! I will most definitely put up some photos when it's finished! Tomorrow night is also our city's Christmas Parade! Pumped! Even though I am no longer a child, I still feel like a kid when I go to the parade! I'm looking forward to mittens, scarves, hot cocoa and of course, the marching bands and SANTA! OMG, SANTA! I KNOW HIM! (Christmas movie reference. Better get use to it.)

I have to start downloading my Christmas playlist... and watching Christmas movies! Staying true to my-too-organized-self, I made a list of flicks to watch over the next month! Here are my favorites:

1. Home Alone- I like it, I love it, can't get enough of it. I try so hard, I can't riiiiiise above it. Done.
2. Home Alone 2- funnnnay movie. Sit down, grab some snacks, make it a night & watch em both in a row.
3. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation- a classic, no need to say anymore.
4.  The Grinch- Jim Carrey version, or cartoon, whatever you prefer.
5. The Santa Clause & 2 & 3- Loved these movies as a kid, still do!
6. Elf- Just do it.
7. The Polar Express- Good for the kiddies and good for you!
8. Jack Frost- Watch it before the Winter season is over, a tear jerker that's for sure!

Now for some movies that are a little less classic but still a whole lot awesome:

9. Fred Claus- Love me some Vince Vaughn...and as an added bonus=Ludacris! Score.
10. Four Christmases- Vince Vaughn! Vince Vaughn! This one is hilarious.
11. Deck The Halls- VINCE VAUGHN!!!! I kid, I kid. Danny Devito is the worst neighbor of all time, at Christmas.
12. Christmas with The Kranks- I don't know what it is about Tim Allen, but, he does Christmas well.
Last and definitely least, Jingle All The Way. I so dislike this movie but hubby would've killed me if I left it off of the list. Trust me when I say, once you've watched it once, you don't need to see it again, ever, ever, ever again. Don't get roped into watching it every year like I am.......

Cannot wait to get started with Christmas, it's my FAVORITE time of year, hands down.
