Dear Baby

We are now only one month from your due date! We can't believe we are this close to finally meeting you. We have spent so much time preparing for your arrival and cannot wait. I can only imagine what it will be like to hold you for the first time and to get to bring you home. Time really cannot go fast enough.

We sometimes sit and wonder what you will be like. We wonder whether you are a boy or girl, whether you will like sports like daddy, or if you will like books like mommy. We wonder what you will look like and what features you will get from us and the rest of your family.

We have so many special things planned for you and cannot wait to share them with you. We have spent many months deciding on the perfect name for you, preparing your beautiful nursery, and getting everything ready for your arrival. We have never been more excited for anything! 

This month will be filled with lots of doctor appointments to prepare us for your delivery. We know you will come when the time is right and when you are ready. After seeing you in an ultrasound and seeing your sweet little self moving around, we are more than ready for you, but know that you will pick your own birthday and that that day will be the best day of our lives. We were told that you are facing backwards, and not rotated into the correct position yet. We can only hope and pray that you will start your journey soon, but both mommy and daddy are just as stubborn and we will understand if you decide to stay in your favorite spot. 

Before we know it you will be here and life will never be the same. We are going to spend the month anticipating your arrival and hopefully getting some rest before you come as we will want to spend every possible moment with you. You are a lucky baby to be coming into a family that loves you so much already.
