Nursery & To-Do's!

The nursery is coming along slowly... but since we are now only 5 weeks away from being full term, we are starting to crack down! Our goal is to completely finish it by 37 weeks, which is July 13th (only a little over a month away! eek!). I figured I better make a list of things I need to do and finish or else something will be forgotten (my mind is scattered- like putting milk in the cupboard- scattered). So... here is a list of everything we have left to do! 

Nursery To-Do's:

1. Set up side table (waiting patiently for this to be delivered!) 

2. Order wall decal and put it on

3. Buy and install new ceiling light 

4. Make shelves, paint, and hang

5. Buy and hang curtain rod

6. Buy frames and hang (also, print pics for the frames-some art, some maternity pics)

7. Hang lanterns 

8. Make mobile

9. Put bedding & changing pad cover on & hang curtains
10. Buy shelf and hang above dresser

Before Baby To-Do's:

1. Wash all clothing and put away

2. Install car seat

3. Pack hospital bags for mom, dad, & baby

4. Thoroughly clean the house (so I won't obsess about it that first week home)

5. Purchase any items that we still need for baby

With that said, things are going along great and if the baby did come early, most of everything would be ready (except for decorations and what not that don't matter as much)... and we have narrowed our name list down to one boy & one girl name (middle names included)! We even ordered hats embroidered with the names- again I am waiting patiently (NOT) for these to come in the mail! If we decided the baby looks nothing like the name we have picked out then we will just have to use another newborn hat lol. We have completed 3/5 prenatal classes and I am now attending bi-weekly doctor checkups! The end is near, the end is near! 

I have a lot of countdowns going on at the moment and so much to look forward to! As of today I only have...........

10 DAYS until my baby shower!

17 DAYS until Amanda returns from China! 

23 DAYS until Canada Day weekend in PEI!

32 DAYS until our first wedding anniversary!

38 DAYS until FULL TERM!

59 DAYS until BABY!!!! 

Sooo much excitement!
